Covered my 1st Cosplay and gaming expo this week. Platform2012  was held at Hull University in three separate Halls. Most of my time was spent in the Cosplay and retro gaming hall. The event was held over two days, with various workshops for Cosplay, manga art and game design.

The whole weekend showcased some of the very talent people of Hull, varying from the live art to 3d game design. A table had been set up to encourage visitors to have a go at drawing and sketching. The paper had been started last year and several visitors could see their work from last year. The paper roll shall return at Platform2013.

Several of the workshops for cos-players and manga art I had the oppotunity to attend. The workshops showed cos-players an introduction into cos-play and how to make their own outfits, workshops for costume design where conducted by Missy Tetra.

Sonia Leong and Destiny Blue provided workshops to show budding artists the finer pionts of manga art works.

The 1st day was concluded with a cosplay masquerade hosted by Masakox part of TeamFourStar and voice artist of Dragon Ball Z.
